Most projects begin with a desire to update or replace dated elements. As Designers, we may suggest a new layout which maximizes location, natural light, views, flow, and function. Once a design agreement is signed, we listen to your ideas, measure the space, generate a three-dimensional model, and then explore the various options that fit your needs. The three-dimensional model enables you to visualize the new space with a virtual perspective. This design is then allowed to evolve with the project.

When I commence building, rest assured that I will isolate the work space, protect your home from damage, and minimize the disruption to you. Our agreement will include the fine details, and the basic housekeeping issues. The work space will be left broom clean every evening, and you will have access to the space as often as I determine it is "safe".

Because renovation is a very dynamic process which can include unknowns, I have found it best to work within an open-book, time & material contract. This keeps you aware of the "hard costs", and able to understand the "soft costs" as the project evolves. I begin with a detailed budget which evolves with the design, discovery, and progress of the project. Upon completion, "you pay for what you get", and "get what you pay for".
